About ME

What do I exactly mean by “visual artist”? Well, I make the art for videogames, I produce and direct films, and I animated motion graphics to put it simply. Because of my background in game design and development, I’m really focused in engaging the audience through compelling, entertaining stories. For example, my specific focus in my graduate studies has been learning how to better design for the user so I can create content people want to see. Ultimately, my goal is fusing games and films together to create memorable and thought-provoking, interactive experiences.

Born in New York City and raised just across the Hudson in New Jersey, my East Coast roots keep me practical and diligent. The city’s diversity lends its influence to my open-mindedness as well. I spent 4 years producing and directing a national award-winning late night college entertainment show named Quinnipiac Tonight. I have interned at Bandai Namco Entertainment America in Santa Clara, California, editing video content and working on animations featured in triple-A titled video games such as Dragonball FighterZ and Tekken 7. I have even served as the director of photography on a cinema-released documentary named STEMTOWN. What all of these experiences shared in common were high stress environments where I constantly had to think on my feet to solve problems. The thing is, I thrive on that kind of stress. As a result, I developed a deep love and understanding for the process of game and film making.

So, maybe I’m an artist trying to find a meaningful connection between games and films as a profession. Or maybe I’m just trying to make some money (totally true). What I certainly am is a passionate, creative worker with two unique skillsets committed to the craft of telling compelling, visual stories.

A 4 PLAYER CO-OPERATIVE BOSS BATTLE GAME WHERE YOU AND 3 OTHER FRIENDS HAVE TO WORK AS A TEAM AND USE EACH OTHER'S SPECIAL ABILITIES AND WEAPONS TO FIGHT YOUR WAY TO VICTORY.

HOOK KING

A MOBILE-BASED 2D GAME THAT ALLOWS PLAYER TO TAP THE SCREEN TO GRAPPLE AND SWING AROUND THE MAP COLLECTING COINS AND CAUSING DESTRUCTION TO SCORE THE MOST POINTS UNDER A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME.

On a scale of one to zero, how happy are you?"

“You are here because you want to laugh. And you want to forget about your problems” a robotic female voice says, opening Bo Burnham’s Make Happy Netflix comedy special. “I will not allow it. You should not forget about your problems. The world is not funny. 12% of the world’s population does not have access to clean water. The world is not funny.”

It’s a depressing start to a comedy show yet I can’t help but laugh a little at the sheer abruptness of it. When Burnham comes on stage and the audience erupts in cheers, hilarity with a side of perfectly rehearsed songs, gestures, and unexpected twists ensues. Bo makes it very clear that he’s here to entertain us with his show. And his show, through catchy rhythms, quick quips, and dirty remarks, cleverly invites us to peer into his doubts and burdens...

Eudamonia: At What Cost?

Eudaimonia is something I believe every human, for the most part, instinctually strives for in their lives. We want to feel whole and as if we have a greater purpose. That we’re all here to contribute to something beneficial. In that sense, it’s the foundation for why we work so hard to “make a living” (at least in Western culture but that’s a slippery rabbit hole for another day). I’d even argue that it’s the partly the reason we all get up and go about our days. So much so that our quest to achieve eudaimonia influenced our innovations and our inventions to the point where most of our society can carry pocket-sized bricks with the computing power to connect us all to one another in an instant...
